& Other Stories 'Strobing' Highlighter

'Highlighting' or 'strobing' is definitely the buzz word of the moment.

I am a complete advocate particularly as I have quite soft features which need definition and the light catching, dewy definition is much easier and wearable than 'heavy' contouring (on that note, the  November Instyle magazine has a great piece on contouring like a Khardashian'.

I have tried several highlighters ranging from the Nars multiple in 'Luxor' a gorgeous pale pearl pink, Stilla's 'Kitten' powder and Benefit's cult 'High Beam' both of which are slightly warmer but still have a pink undertone.

On my recent trip to Vogue's Fashion Night out I couldn't help but stop by the & Other Stories make up range which is gorgeous and completely below the radar.

Their products not only follow key trends, but the quality is superb and the packaging is understated yet chic.

On using highlighters in a range of formats, from powder to liquid I personally prefer them in a user friendly, apply on the hop stick format.

This & Other Stories highlighter stick in 'Beige Linen' has a more golden finish but isn't overly warm tipping it into bronzer territory! I use this on my cheek bones, down my nose, on my Cupid's bow....basically on all angles I wish to define!

The finish is again more pearl than shimmer and there are no glitter particles to be seen, so suitable for light day to day use as well as for heavier application in the evening.

At £12.50 this really is a great product to try the strobing trend but also as a great all round highlighter. I love the ease and accuracy of the application and the packaging is just the cutest.
