Vogue Fashion Night Out #FNO

Friday, 11 September 2015

I have wanted to go Vogue Fashion Night Out for the past three years but every year something has cropped up, but this year I was fortunate to be in London anyway and as if by magic the stars aligned ;) an excuse for Mrs B to go shopping!

I was in London to see a good friend at her leaving do and then was planning to head in once the party had started later on, as true to fashion form this was a 6pm till late evening of events.

And boy, what a party.

I had studied the map of events on Regents Street and made sure to hit my favourite stores...here is what I found...

Mystic cocktails at Ted Baker with fortunate messages and gifts. Sensual and funky as ever, I spied this gorgeous jacket which has now made my Christmas list. Check out the little pocket bows!

I then headed to French Connection and Longchamp as I specifically wanted a jumper and bag but sadly nothing caught my eye. I can however vouch for the Processo flowing in both stores!

Next it was into J.Crew my new store of desire. I could have spent a fortune in there. The gorgeous collaboration of colours and textures, mixing metallic with cashmere and embellishing with gems had me contemplating maxing my credit card but I held back. I don't know how...
Glittery J.Crew shoes...perfectly practical points ;)

Then it was on to Armani Exchange (obviously), I saw some gorgeous simple pieces in here including this black buckle back sleeveless jumper which would be so versatile and still interesting thanks to the back detail. The party was incredibly sleek with the Armani crew, DJ, photographer and staff all in black but pleasantly approachable and unpretentious. I was really impressed.

I then popped into Banana Republic which I have previously found a bit bland to be honest, but I saw a pretty dress in the window and we all know I'm a sucker for a pretty dress. The team in store had really gone all out to promote #FNO with branding and nail treatments taking place in store.
Here is said dress...party season planning...

I finished my tour at Liberty to spy on their new accessory print. Trust Liberty to really pull all the stops out and offer the beautifully unusual, beautiful woven corsages, tie dye laces, illustrated tattoos and individual brand make up tutorials.

All in all a very fashionable late night, with some cute buys and some dream pieces that I will be saving up for.

A really fab night out and I will certainly be planning to go next year - a really great opportunity to plan your winter wardrobe and speak to like minded fashionaholics as well as the brands themselves.

Ohh Topshop pics!
