Clarins - 5 minute Beauty

Saturday, 8 August 2015

I have a huge affection for Clarins, there genuinely isn't one product I haven't used to the last drop and if I am looking for a special treat clarins is always where I am headed.

Which is basically what happened last weekend. I realised I was out of moisturiser, foundation and blusher
(by this I mean I had run out of my favourites) so figured I was justified in a little* order.

So I settled on this great testing range for £20 and a new bottle of Bain aux Plantes Tonic - Bath and Shower Concentrate (literally should be on prescription for people working under pressure and need serious relaxation).

Of course Clarins being Clarins it came with this awesome gift of three additional products including the HydraQuench Serum, lotion and their classic body moisturiser. These products are perfect for young but thirsty skin that need extra moisture in a light formula.

The testing ranges they have recently launched are brilliant and perfect for newbies to the brand, I love their BB cream and lip perfectors but bought the kit for the powder blush as I am doing a transition back to powder having used cream blush for years.

The thing about Clarins is the decadence, quality and as I found in the pharmacies in Paris the expertise behind french brands is reassuring and considered. Not flashy, not trendy just quietly confident and damn good.
