Hey Peeps,

So without boring you to tears I am on the same blurb mission as most other girls out there.Get fit, treat my body better in regards to food put in and nourish my nails etc.

Stila Beauty Balm and Bliss Body Bar from Cultbeauty.co.uk

So I'll be honest I have put on 4lbs over Christmas - it must be the pigs in blankets, chocolate, brandy butter and my Dyson like behaviour around crisps and nuts - so today I am saying 'no' everyday except Saturday ( it works for me). I have also whipped out the smoothie maker and have been whisking up some cucumber and carrot delights*.

But the more fun part of this exercise is obviously the beauty part.

Firstly, I have bought the Bliss body bar with lemon and sage which stimulates circulation and smells lovely (although I am not quite buying into the sage...) this is a bit of a novelty product but it's getting me into the right mindset and my skin felt zingy afterwards.

Moving onto my Nail Envy by OPI kindly gifted to me by my bestie with many other OPI goodies, this product will revolutionise ragged, flaky, over worked nails. It creates a tough nourishing coat that protects, leading to strong even nails. I apply this weekly and wear polish over the top and it works beautifully.

Last year, I tried so many tinted moisturisers, BB creams and foundations I could write a thesis, this included heralded products such as Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser (very good) Garnier BB cream (dreadful, so bad a guy at work wondered if a spray tan had gone wrong). However, the best product ever is the Stila Illuminating Beauty Balm SPF 30 which I love so much I am on my second tube. It is nourishing, gives great coverage and truly illuminates. It also has a gorgeous smooth rich consistency.

So those are three core, little consistent changes I shall be making beauty wise.

Next is to clear out my wardrobe ready for returning to work - eek!

Lots of love
