Coco Mademoiselle

As previously concluded I am addicted to highlights but in contrast I am not a slave to beauty or routines. In actual fact I am highly fickle and this varies from ongoing commitment to a moisturiser to a hair dresser. My longest relationship with a hairdresser lasted 7 months before I was lured to another salon with a beauty offer :)
So far this year I have been to three hairdressers including Toni and Guy, H Salon and most recently Coco's in Cockfosters.
I found Coco's website online and booked for a Sunday as I like peace when setting up for a 3 hour highlighting marathon. On arrival it was calm, quiet and the shop design was contemporary and spacious. The staff were attentive and if anything not overly chatty which I LOVE. I have a little boy so this truly is an afternoon off, so small talk about holidays and celebrities is wasted on me. saying this the hairdresser barely spoke which although I found wonderful could put some people off.

I loved the modern format of the salon, all of the magazines were current and they had plasma TV screens set in the mirrors playing music videos which I have to say was quite impressive, there was also music playing but not at an unbearable volume.
The result, a full head of highlights for £100 including a cut and blow dry by a well trained and talented hairdresser. The finish and colour is amazing and the positioning of the highlights to the root of the hair is superb. I highly recommend - and I may even be going back :)
